Natura 2000

Natura 2000 - unijny program, mający na celu skuteczną ochronę najcenniejszych ekosysytemów Europy. W Polsce zakwalifikowano doń już 72 obszary o łącznej powierzchni około 3 312 800 ha. Są to m. in.: Tatry, Gorce, Puszcza Kampinowska, Puszcza Białowieska, Puszcza Augustowska, Puszcza Piska, Lasy Janowskie, Bieszczady, Pradolina Warszawsko-Berlińska... Dyrekcja Bolimowskiego Parku Krajobrazowego czyni starania o włączenie do programu Natura 2000 obszaru ochrony siedlisk „Dolina Rawki“, będącego fragmentem Parku.


Situated between Łódź and Warsaw, the Bolimowski Landscape Park was established in 1986. It protects a great, ancient, well-stocked the Bolimowski Primeval Forest and a valley of a wild river called Rawka.
It is very uniqe and interesting area. Bolimowski Landscape Park is known as one of the most valuable in Central Poland. Every year thousands of people visit the BLP to find beauty of nature, knowledge and rest.

Management of BLP offers a vide selection of workshops, nature lessons and countryside-based activities addressed to children, teenagers and adults.

Employees of Management of Bolimowski Landscape Park are well qualified to be good guides to the world of ecology and nature conservation. They can help you to meet wild animals and recognize plants, and to understand the nature. They can also organize your leisure time by setting trips, exhibitions, displays of films and slides up. Employees of Management of Bolimowski Landscape Park arrange nature lessons for pupils, students and adults in a very professional way. They also offer plays and games for children, ornithological observations, practices for students, workshops and guided tours for everyone.

There is also a well equipped library in a territorial base of Management of BLP in Budy Grabskie. There are various atlases, albums, dictionaries, handbooks, encyclopaedias, guides, botanical keys and dissertations in it. You can find plenty of publications about nature, biodiversity and other amenities of Bolimowski Landscape Park in this library, that can help you to find out more about nature, enrich your knowledge, or even write your own paper, dissertation or article.
